About the Company
The forging shop was built as one of the first buildings in the new Skoda Works site, which was founded by Emil Skoda after taking over the Valdstejnske strojirny. The company has been operating here continuously since 1897.
With respect to the craftsmanship
Honest craftsmanship is our priority. We build on the rich experience of our predecessors, and carefully define further procedures and technologies for our successors. As one of the few forging shops in Europe and the world, we can hot form metals in dies and freeform - thanks to colleagues who have skillful hands and many years of experience.
Vision for the future
We want to be a respected global supplier of drop and open-die forgings for the non-automotive industry. With respect for our history, we want to build an agile and stable company based on technological and human development.
